Alex is a Funk/Jazz/ Worldmusic drummer that has performed with artists such as Ray Greene (Tower Of Power, Santana) Fred Wesley (James Brown Tina Turner), Jamal Thomas (Maceo Parker), Branford Marsalis (Miles Davis) and Chuck Leavell (Rolling Stones) all over the world for more than 20 years.
A long time student and partner of the recently deceased funk drummer legend Jamal Thomas, his passion and experience about drums and music lead him to form the Alexander Agency, a collective of enthusiastic bookers/ promoters & musicians collaborating.

Bassist Cliff Schmitt's career in music spans over three decades, starting with his professional debut in 1992. He kicked off his musical career on the south side of Dallas, working with R&B legend Al "TNT" Braggs, renowned for his songwriting contributions to artists like Aretha Franklin and Bobby Bland.
Since then, Cliff's musical journey has taken him across the globe, performing in renowned nightclubs in New York, Paris, London, Berlin, and Rio De Janeiro. He has also performed at some of the most well-known festivals in the world, Montreaux Jazz, Jazz à Juan, Marciac Jazz, Blueseas Curaçao, Chicago Blues Festival, Rheingau Music Festival, and numerous others.
While he's been a resident of New York City since 1997, Cliff now divides his time between there and Germany, broadening his musical influences and connections. Currently, he is the bassist for Emarcy recording artist Curtis Stigers, and co-leads Likho Duo alongside the talented Guitarist/Harmonica player Noé Socha.
Cliff's involvement in the music industry has extended beyond performing, encompassing artist management and booking.
He has worked as a tour manager for several of the artists he has performed with, and is now joining the Alexander Agency in Cologne.

Barbara (Basia in short) is a Polish passionate musician who has gained experience in this field since 2007. Starting music education with viola only to discover that singing and delivering meaningful lyrics is her true love. Studying jazz vocals at the University of Zielona Góra seems like just another step in education but this year it turned out to be a very important stage of life because it was the place where she first met Alexander Bernath, the CEO ;) After years of studying vocals, piano, even musicology, and gaining experience in organizing and working at music events she once again crossed paths with Alex to assist him in a journey called Alexander Agency. Simultaneously, she cooperates with music producer Paweł Lewicki, creating mainly music and voice-overs for commercials, and working on her first EP.
