World Music Festival aboard the MS EUROPA

Hapag Lloyd Cruises- EUR2621 & EUR2625

EUR2621

This one is a bit of a full-circle moment for Alexander Agency.

Many years ago, our founder Alex Bernath first stepped aboard a Hapag-Lloyd ship as a crew drummer. Today, Alexander Agency is curating and booking artists for their stages — and this week marks the start of our first curated World Music Festival aboard the MS EUROPA.

The festival brings together five artists from across Europe, each with their own musical language:

Miguel Llobell Percussion Trio 🇪🇸
A percussion-led journey through Mediterranean and global influences.

Marcela Cella Orosi 🇭🇷
Croatian singer-songwriter bringing an intimate and personal approach to contemporary folk and song.

Paula Grande 🇪🇸
A distinctive Catalan voice moving between songwriting, jazz and Mediterranean influences.

FLO 🇮🇹
One of Italy's fascinating voices in contemporary world music, connecting Neapolitan roots with sounds and stories from across the

Mediterranean.

Katarina Pejak 🇷🇸
Serbian singer, songwriter and pianist whose music travels between blues, soul and jazz.

EUR2625

Anna Setton 🇧🇷 brings the warmth and sophistication of Brazilian music, moving naturally between bossa nova, MPB and contemporary songwriting.

Maruja Limón 🇪🇸 bring their vibrant mix of flamenco, Latin rhythms, Mediterranean sounds and powerful live energy to the stage.

Alongside their full concerts, the artists will also appear in smaller and more intimate SPOT settings around the ship, bringing the music beyond the traditional concert stage.

For us, that is what good curation is about: finding artists with their own identity and bringing different musical worlds together in a setting where audiences can genuinely discover them.

From starting out behind the drum kit aboard these ships to putting together a festival for one of them — life can be funny if you don’t plan it.

Hapag Lloyd's new WORLD MUSIC FESTIVALS on MS-EUROPA 2026/2027 Co-curated by Alexander Agency

Hapag Lloyd Weltmusik Festival - Paula Grande

With a new music concept aboard MS EUROPA, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is adding an exclusive new dimension to the travel experience on its small luxury ship. On selected voyages, world music becomes a highlight of the onboard program, creating exceptional moments that go far beyond traditional entertainment. On the EUROPA stage, artists present the musical culture of the countries visited in a unique way, showcasing their work in an exclusive and elegant setting — personal, intimate, and at the highest level.

For 2026 and 2027, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is announcing four themed voyages dedicated to world music. On the first journey, performances will feature Croatian singer-songwriter Marcela, Italian artist FLO, the American-influenced jazz and blues musician Katarina Pejak, and Catalan artist Paula Grande performing as a duo with bassist Vic Moliner.
